INVITATION TO THE 63RD NATIONAL CONFERENCE AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE NIGERIAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION
On behalf of the Council, Nigerian Library Association (NLA) is pleased to invite all Librarians, Information Scientists, Archivists, LIS Educators, Exhibitors, Publishers, Authors, Booksellers, Friends of the Library, and all other stakeholders to the 63rd National Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Association.
The 2025 edition of the conference, themed "The 5th Industrial Revolution & the Future of Library and Information Service Delivery in a Changing World," is scheduled to take place from Sunday, 6th July to Friday, 11th July, 2025, at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Airport Road, Benin City, Edo State.
The conference, titled “HEARTBEAT 2025,” is expected to attract participants from across Nigeria and beyond, and will feature:
- Paper presentations
- Panel discussions
- Annual General Meeting
- Exhibition of library materials and technologies
- Tour of notable sites in Benin City
- Awards and Gala Night
Conference Registration Fees:

- Non-paid-up members: ₦75,000
- Non-members: ₦80,000
- Retirees: ₦30,000
- Undergraduate Students (with valid ID): ₦20,000
- Postgraduate Students (with valid ID): ₦30,000
